Yongjung Kim
Hello, I am Yongjung Kim, an Assistant Professor at Sejong University in Seoul, Republic of Korea.
Before joining Sejong University, I worked at Korean Astronomy & Space Science Institute (KASI), Kyungpook National University (KNU) and Kavli Institute for Astronomy and Astrophysics (KIAA). I earned my Ph.D. in Astronomy at Seoul National University (SNU), under the guidance of Professor Myungshin Im. You can find more details about my academic journey on CV page.
I am leading the SQuARE Group at Sejong University, dedicated to exploring the nature and evolution of quasars and galaxies across cosmic time. Our work combines large multi-wavelength survey data and statistical methods to provide essential insights into quasar evolution, black hole growth, and the connection between quasars and their host galaxies. Please visit the SQuARE Group and Research pages for more details.
